Abstract:
Effects of fulvic acid on wheat and maize growth were studied through seed mixing, water culture and spray. The result showed that the best seed mixing time was 30 min which can increase wheat germination rate and improve wheat growth. In water culture trial, chlorophyll and carotenoid contents can be decreased by 17.7% and 15.6% respectively with dilution solution at 600 times under water applied while it can be increased by 24% with 480 times dilution solution compared with control under drought stress. The plant height and Chla+b of maize leave in field trial at flower stage can be increased by 7% and 17% respectively, spray with FA can increase photosynthesis rate and water use efficiency in maize leaf by 25% and 28% while irrigation with FA tr eatment increased by 62% and 45%, respectively. The pigment content of wheat leaf in field at seedling stage and stage of seedling establishment can be increased significantly with FA irrigation.
