| Abstract: |
| The ecosystem service value, as a potential economic benefit, was often overlooked,which had virtually resulted in significant loss of economic value, so it was very important to do quantitative research of ecosystem service value. Based on the GIS and RS, according to the theory of ecosystem service assessment, the ecological economics approach was used to calculate the value of farmland ecosystem services in Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone. The total value of farmland ecosystem service was 2.392×1012 yuan in the zone, where the negative value was 2.457×1011 yuan, and the proportion of positive and negative value was 10.88:1. Among different regions, Xianyang had the greatest positive co
ntribution, accounting for 46%, followed by Weinan, for 20%; However, Weinan had the largest negative value proportion, followed by Tongchuan. Above all, the value of farmland ecosystem service in Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone showed certain spatial differences: high in plain area and low in mountainous area, and it is mainly influenced by the factors of terrain, general geographic condition, farming technology and envrionmental pollution. |
