Abstract:
Based on the data of 1982—2009, we analyzed the chemical characteristics, dynamic of water level and water chemical properties of groundwater and investigated the water quality in Baoyang Irrigation District. Using Pearson index law and Stepwise regression analysis, we also analyzed the correlation between the groundwater salinity degree and ion composition, so as to reveal the effects of irrigation, external water diversion, groundwater exploitation and agricultural production activities on the groundwater water chemical type, water level and water qua lity dynamic in the loess tableland irrigation district. The results show that the groundwater salinity degree changes are mainly controlled by anions (HCO3-, SO42-, Cl-), and Cr (VI) and NO-3-N are the main threat of pollution to groundwater. Facing the problems of water resources and water environment in the district, we proposed some countermeasures for the conservation of water resources and ecological environment which may be used as reference to the protection and utilization of groundwater resources of loess tableland irrigation districts.
