Abstract:
The status of vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizal(VAM) of 23 halophytes in saline alkaline soil of Tianjin was surveyed. lt was found that 19 species formed VAM. The VAM structural types were correlated with the family of host plants, such as Leguminosae, Compositae and Tamaricaceae were the Arum-type, and Poaceae belonged to the Paris-type. The AM eolonization rate was only affected by the host plants. No significant correlation was detected between AM fungal spore density and colonization rate.
