Abstract:
Based on the analysis of different barley varieties in Gansu, using the Richard equation, this article presents a dynamic simulation of internode elongation and thickening process at physiological development time (PDT). The dynamic models were validated in various sowing dates and different genotypes of barley in Gansu. Experimental results showed that the ranges of the root mean square errors (RMSE) of internode length in various sowing dates and different genotypes of barley were 0.37~1.62 cm, and that of internode thickness were 0.011~0.034 cm. The two simulating models showed separately good correlation and predictability.
