Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to gain some insight into the spatial distribution feature of theoretical yield level and realizable yield level of the farmland in Gansu eastern region based on calculation of survey data using geostatistical analysis method, universal Kriging spatial interpolation method and comparative research method. The result showed as follows: (1) the theoretical yield level of southern counties was higher than the level of northern counties generally; the counties which lie on the central region had the highest theoretical yield level. (2) The realizable yield level in Gansu eastern region had significant difference. The highest level was located at central region of Kongtong. In northeast region of Heshui, southwest region of Ning, southern region of Xifeng, central region of Jingchuan and northern region of Lingtai, the realizable yield level was relatively high. (3) From northwest to southeast among Kongtong, Cho ngxin, Lingtai and Jingchuan, there was a band region where the yield level was obviously high. It is concluded that: (1) spatial interpolation method based on geostatistical analysis can be used to discover distribution feature of the whole region. (2) Middle of eastern region in Gansu Province should be the key area about farmland management in future.
