Abstract: |
In order to search for the measures to promote the water use efficiency of cotton, some influence factors to the water use efficiency of cotton leaf was analyzed based on the photosynthesis data measured by LCpro+portable automatic photosynthetic apparatus in an experimental field in Southern Xinjiang. The results showed that the water use effi-ciency of cotton leaf was mainly affected by the temperature of cotton leaf, stomatal conductance and intercellular CO2 concentration. There was a significant positive correlation between water use efficiency of cotton leaf and stomatal conductance, but the water use efficiency of cotton leaf was negatively related to temperature of cotton leaf and intercellular CO2 concentration. Hence, the water use efficiency of cotton leaf can be promoted by reducing the temperature of cotton leaf, the intercellular CO2 concentration and increasing the stomatal conductance. |
