Abstract: |
Genotype environment interaction (GEI) is a common phenomenon in plant breeding. The genotype main effect plus genotype-environment interaction (GGE) model, additive main effect and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) model, Shukla model and Ebehart-Russell regression model were adopted to compare the stability of 8 cultivars (lines) of dryland spring wheat used in 9 regional trial sites in 2009. The results showed that although the Shukla model was easy, the analysis of GGE model and AMMI model was comprehensive and intuitive, and there was still a bit difference between these two models. The GGE model has been proved to be an effective tool in understanding the effect of genotype-environment interaction, and evaluating the stability of genotypes, the representative of test environments and the ability of discrimination. |
