Abstract:
The genetic variation of High Molecular Weight of winter wheat varieties was studied by SDS-PAGE in Longdong dryland. Totally 8 subunits are detected from 20 materials, including Null, 1, 2*, 7+8, 7+9, 5+10, 2+10. The result indicates that the main subunit Composition are Null, 7+8,2+12(40%) and Null, 7+9, 2+12(30%). Most of wheat varieties are lack of high-quality subunits of 5+10,1,2*,17+18,14+15. Qing Feng No.1 and Baiqi wheat contain high-quality subunits(1、7+8、5+10) can be found, but in recent years these high-quality subunits can’t be found among bred wheat varieties. During wheat breeding in the future, the application of these two high quality subunits should be strengthened.
