Abstract:
In order to make clear the present condition of applying fertilizer of wheat in Gansu province, and to provide evidence for improve the nutrient resource utilization and the rational fertilization, an investigation of use fertilizer habits, the amount and Species of farmers fertilizer was carried out in five typical ecological area of the Dingxi, Longdong, High and Cold Areas, along the Yellow River Irrigation District, Hexi of Gansu province During 2008—2009, the results showed that application of N and P fertilizers is commonly higher, but K fertilizer is evidently insufficient in Gansu. The application ratio of nutritions is not rational, in detail, it is applicable to spring wheat, but not to winter wheat because the ratio of P and N is usually too high. The application of fertilizer to is mainly in planting period of wheat, and less in growing period. The fertilizer is mainly including urea, diammonium phosphate, ammonium bicarbonate, single superphosphate, and composite fertilizer(special fertilizer of wheat) is also used in some fields, but still in a lower ratio.
