Abstract:
      The parameters model of corn stalk—cutter cutting simulation was built by using the software Solidworks, the process of cutting corn stalk was simulated with the help of non linear finite element software LS-DYNA971. Finite element numerical simulation of the corn stalk cutting can reduce the experiment cost, shorten the test time and provide theoretic references for the design of the har vesting machine of corn stalk. Using the characteristics of parameterized model, orthogonal simulated test was taken on the basis of changing diameter, moisture content of corn stalk, cutting way and cutter moving speed. The results showed: From the cutting force, the moisture content was the most significant effect, other impacts in sequence as diameter of corn stalk, cutting way and cutter movin g speed. Through the analysis by the orthogonal comprehensive equation method, we have known it was the best when the cutter linear speed was 28 m·s-1, using the sliding cutting, the moisture content and diameter wast 45% and 26 mm respectively. The establishment and analysis of the dynamic visual numerical simulation model for the corn stalk—cutter would have very important referential values for the design of corn stalk harvesting machines.
