Abstract:
      In order to suit the status quo of small potato planting plots and more slope land in Gansu Province, improve the machinery harvesting level of potato, through the theoretical analysis, design and selection for each key machine component, have designed out a 4UM-640 vibrating potato digger which held a eccentric swing arm structure and vibration digging installation, the excavating depth can be adjusted and matched with the walking tractor. The field experiment has showed that: When this potato digger was operated, digging potato, smoothly transport, drag reduction and broken soil with evident effect to separate the soil and potato, the potato damage rate was 3.6%, the loss rate was 4.1%, the distinct rate was 97.1%, has reached the relative technical requirements for the potato machinery harvest.
