Abstract:
This study aims to evaluate drought resistance and select its indexes of 21 mung bean cultivars. Ten indexes related to drought resistance were divided into three main components according to principal component analysis, including stem length, stem diameter, pods, leaf area, chlorophyll content, MDA content, proline content, and shoot fresh weight, dry weight and water content. The results indicated that stem length, stem diameter, pods, leaf area, chlorophyll content, MDA content, and proline content were closely related to drought resistance. The mung bean cultivars were classified into three groups according to cluster analysis and subject function method. Liangfeng 1, HX04037, and Yulü 1 showed strong drought resistance, Jibei12-1, Lüzhenzhu 2, ‘ZKY-2, Bailü 522, and Hanlü weak resistance, and the others medium.
