Peat soil in Xinjiang Ebinur Lake wetland was collected and examined through chemical analysis. The contents and spatial distribution characteristics of organic matter, nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus were determined statistically. The results showed that the level of soil organic matter and nitrogen content in peat soil displayed a characteristic of top-down vertical differentiation, but the overall level was low. Additionally, the correlation analysis showed that there was significant correlation among the amounts of peat soil organic matter, nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus in different surface soil layers, and there was also significant correlation among the amounts of peat soil organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus in different deep soil layers. Moreover, soil nutrient spatial variations seemed to be at moderate level. In conclusion, the study in this area provided scientific fundamentals for rational protection of peat resources usage, to stabilize and restore ecological environment. |
