Abstract:
Under three irrigation models as alternative interval furrow irrigation(AFI), conventional furrow irrigation(CFI) and fixed interval furrow irrigation(FFI), has researched the change of the plant morphology, water use efficiency yield and its component factor of Capsicum, respectively. The results showed that: (1) The average plant heights in final harvest stage were 69.3 cm, 63.6 cm and 52.2 cm, respectively for three treatments as CFI, AFI and FFI,the difference was significant (P<0.05); In earlier stage, the increase of plant height of AFI was less than CFI, but in later stages, the increase of plant height was greater than CFI. (2) The stem-diameter was the largest under AFI in whole growth period, the maximum was 1.38 cm. (3) The difference of leaf area index in harvest stage was extremely significant between AFI with CFI and FFI, the difference of FFI and CFI was significant. (4) The main root length of AFI was the longest, which was 6.36 cm, and the taproot thick and root-shoot ratio of AFI were between CFI and FFI. (5) Analysis of the yield level, AFI was higher than CFI and FFI 46% and 52%, for the water use efficiency of group level, AFI was higher than CFI and FFI 41% and 38%. (6) At the same moisture gradient in whole growth period, the yield of AFI treatment was the highest, which was 62 386.1 kg·hm-2, the yield was increased than CFI and FFI 4 447 kg·hm-2 and 20 973 kg·hm-2, also the difference was significant for each treatment.
