Abstract:
In order to explore the spatial distribution and pollution status of heavy metal elements in soil of arid area on Desert-oasis Ecotone that has high sensitivity, the level of heavy metals distribution, vertical distribution, correlation studies and integrated pollution index under two kinds of typical plant communities were carried out in Xiaerxili region. Results showed that heavy metal had surface aggregation phenomenon in soil, and its content was relatively high in the 0~30 cm layer, whereas remained low in the 50~60 cm layer. Various characteristic values distribution of soil heavy metals for Achnatherum splendens community was higher than those for Leymus chinensis community. For spatial distribution of heavy metals, Cr, Cu and Pb in the western area of the study area was relatively high. Zn had a strong distribution pattern that Zn tended to be high in east and low in west. Correlation analysis showed that correlations among organic matters of heavy metals for Achnatherum splendens community were stronger than those for Leymus (P<0.05). In conclusion, the evaluation indicates that heavy metal pollution in the Leymus chinensis community under heavy metal pollution index was less than that in Achnatherum splendens community.
