Abstract: |
The Biplot has been increasingly applied to intuitive analysis of genotype\|by\|environment data in crop variety. In this research, the yield and stability of 7 high\|generation of potato lines in 5 multipoint trials from 2016-2018 were analyzed using GGE Biplot with Genstat software. Through the analysis of the tested lines year by year, the results showed that 0773-2 (G5) and 1003-2 (G2) had better performance in terms of yield and stability among the 7 potato lines studied in this multipoint test. The 0904-134 (G1) and 0911-27(G6) had poor stability and yield among 7 potato lines. The GGE-Biplot explained the representativeness and discrimination of the test location, and divided the ecological area of the testing sites to make clearly the functional similarity of the testing sites. Based on the analysis results of the 3-years experiment, among the 5 testing sites in the multi\|point experiment, the representativeness and discrimination of testing sites Longxi (E3) were good, the second one was Anding (E1), the discrimination and representativeness of Lintao (E2) and Tongwei (E5) were similar, while that of testing sites Huining (E4) was worse than others. The GGE Biplot can scientifically and systematically evaluate the stability and yielding ability of high generation lines and provide a fast and accurate analysis method for the selection and breeding of new varieties of potato. |
