Abstract: |
To enhance the mechanization operating level of highland barley harvester, a baler for combine harvester of highland barley was designed. To further study the baler’s working performance for combine harvester of highland barley, based on the group’s preliminary research and experimental conclusions, the Box\|Behnken experimental design with four factors and three levels was performed. Parameters such as forward speed, rotating speed of roller combination with rasp bar-pole tooth, threshing clearance and driving wheel speed of baling device were selected as independent variables. The mathematical model was established, and then the effects of various parameters and their interactions were analyzed. The filed test results showed that the effect order of four parameters on the grain breakage rate was as follows: rotating speed of roller combination with rasp bar-pole tooth, threshing clearance, forward speed, and driving wheel speed of baling device. The effect order of four parameters on the awn\|breaking rate was as follows: rotating speed of roller combination with rasp bar-pole tooth, forward speed, threshing clearance, and driving wheel speed of baling device. The effect order of four parameters on the baling rate was as follows: driving wheel speed of baling device, threshing clearance, rotating speed of roller combination with rasp bar-pole tooth, and forward speed. The optimal working parameters for forward speed was 1.95 m·s-1, rotating speed of roller combination with rasp bar-pole tooth was 864 r·min-1, threshing clearance was 13 mm, and driving wheel speed of baling device was 600 r·min-1. Field confirmatory tests showed that the average value of grain breakage rate was 1.32%, the awn\|breaking rate was 97.58%, and the baling rate was 98.36%. The resulted indicated that under the condition of optimized working parameters, the all\|in\|one machine alleviated the grain breakage of highland barley in the mechanized harvest process, resolving the problems of low awn\|breaking rate and high labor intensity straw baling with mechanized harvester of highland barley. |
