| Abstract: |
| Based on the daily meteorological observation data of Xinzhou City from 2001 to 2023, the climate suitability model of seabuckthorn leaf tea was constructed using the fuzzy mathematical method and weighted average method. The comprehensive temperature, precipitation, and sunshine suitability distribution of seabuckthorn leaf tea in Xinzhou City during the new shoot growth period (May to September) was obtained. The distribution of comprehensive climate suitability in the growth period of seabuckthorn shoots was finally obtained by the geometric average method, and the correlation between climate suitability and altitude was discussed. This study aimed to provide a reference basis for the development and utilization of Xinzhou seabuckthorn leaf tea. The results showed that: (1) The comprehensive temperature suitability (0.73-0.89) was similar to the comprehensive sunshine suitability (0.72-0.88), both of which were higher than the comprehensive precipitation suitability (0.49-0.59), indicating that precipitation was the main limiting condition for the growth and development of seabuckthorn leaves. The high temperature suitability areas were located in Ningwu, Jingle, Wuzhai, Kelan, and Wutai in the east. The high precipitation suitability areas were located in the west of Xinzhou. The suitability of Xinding Basin in the middle and east was low, and the distribution of sunshine suitability was similar to that of precipitation suitability. (2) The comprehensive climate suitability ranged from 0.67 to 0.76. The area with the maximum spatial distribution was located in the western part of Xinzhou. The climate suitability first decreased and then increased during the new shoot growth period. (3) The climate suitability was closely related to the altitude. The suitability increased first and then decreased within the altitude range of 800 to 1 600 m and reached the maximum at 1 400 m, indicating that 1 400 m was the suitable altitude for the growth of seabuckthorn in the Xinzhou area. |
